Crepe Midi Slip Skirt

This is my second A line skirt from Finery as the first was such a success. This is an inexpensive skirt so don’t expect a lining but the finishing is good. It will be creased when it arrives but irons out. It doesn’t fit as perfectly as the first did to my shape - waist band a littler larger. It is a nice shape, hangs well with this mid weight fabric.. Has a zip fastening not elastic and an asymmetric lower panel that gives a bit more fullness than straight A line. Is a little longer than the previous skirt which I like. I bought black which is a soft/lighter black due to the crepe fabric. It is great to have this choice of A line skirts for work - looks smart, stylish and is comfortable, accommodates a larger hip to waist ratio, machine washable and doesn’t break the bank.

Write up said elasticated waist, it wasn’t. Although it fitted it could have been a problem with regular waistband.

As a basic black skirt it is ok, and the bias cut makes it hang well. Strange synthetic fabric that smelled like burning plastic when pressed with a cool iron, but seems fine now.

Like the skirt although it needed a good iron before trying on as arrived very creased, a good fit but too long so I will have to shorten it, I would have expected it to be lined considering the full price but keeping it as I got it at the reduced price.
