Why so HUGE!

Why does Hush clothing have to be so huge?! I love these but I would love them to be the size they profess to be. Sizing guide says size 6 has a 25.6in waist. The size 6 shorts I've got here have a 28in waist. The size 6 is more what an 8/10 would have been in the 90s. Love Hush clothes but don't love having to pay to get stuff resized just because I'm on the smaller side. Make the sizes make sense! And please make a bit more smaller stuff. The size 4/XXS is never available!
