Great for Walking/Jogging
Originally posted on brooksrunning.com
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love these shoes. I am older and walk/jog 3 to 4 miles when I get the chance, and these shoes make it a lot easier for me to do that. I love the fit and comfort. I usually wear a size 10 and ordered them in a 10.5 and glad I did, the fit was just right. Will buy again in the future.

Not a fan

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Tried these shoes wanting a shoe with more spring to it for running/HYROX. I’ve been wearing the glycerins. The cushion on the shoe is nice but I am not a fan of the sock/knit style of these. Even with sizing up they felt snug and I was having pain in my shins even after just a short trial run which I’ve never had with brooks shoes. Returning to try the max 4 since they look like they improved the style of the shoe.

I want the old style back!

I do not like the new design of this shoe. I've been wearing Brooks Hyperion for years, and I'm so disappointed in the change. The tongue comes up higher, there is additional padding on the back, and the bottom is almost like a spring board. I ordered the Max 3 and regular. I anticipated some "spring" with the Max, but not to that extent. I feel like the outter webbing is more like the Ghost. Overall, I am personally dissapointed with the changes and want my old Hyperion back!

Love them

Super comfortable, great on my long runs but also for my trainings a bit more spiced up. Very responsive and stable. Hugs the feets very well, for wide feets maybe cabn feel a bit tight, but in my case I love them.

Mature Runner Support

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’m 68 years old and have been running consistently for 20+ years after a break from running in my 30s and early 40s. This is the first platform running shoe I’ve ever worn and I was a little nervous, but the longer I ran, the better my knees, hips and feet felt. I’m a fan!

Back to loving Brooks!!
Originally posted on brooksrunning.com
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’m back in Brooks! I was a Brooks girlie for a decade. Then I switched to Hoka’s for the last 5 years. No shade to the latter. But when I took a chance on the Hyperion Max 3’s? Y’all! These shoes make me love running so much more! This shoe is LEGIT!! I’ve shaved 1.5 minutes off my mile per minute run time! I feel so much stronger and secure in this shoe. The H3M has helped to not only improve my time, but my overall performance. As someone who, according to my orthopedic doctor, shouldn’t be running (bum knee), these shoes drastically lessens the pain and fatigue I usually experience post run. I’m training for my second half marathon, so I’ll definitely be getting a second pair so that I have continuity in my training! These shoes are amazing and absolutely worth the price!

Probably a one-off design flaw of this particular pair
Originally posted on brooksrunning.com
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Sorry, as much as I wanted to like them, I had to return them. It was possibly a design flaw of this particular pair, but the inside lateral seam of the right shoe rubbed my skin raw just below my lateral malleolus. Only wore them twice and I got a scab there.

Size up half a size

My new long run go to

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Obsessed! My favorite everyday shoe is the stealthfit and I was so pumped when I found out this shoe had the same sock like fit. Truly fits like a glove and best of all no heel slipping. Perfect long run shoe. Kept me feeling fresh and my feet felt amazing the whole 7 miles. I was a little nervous to run in them for the 1st time for a long run but they did not need to be broken in. I will also note i ordered the Hyperion max 2s last year and returned them. I hated them but I wanted give the 3s a chance and so glad I did!

The color is absolutely beautiful, and they feel incredibly comfortable — almost like walking on clouds. I’m a complete beginner when it comes to running, so I can’t compare them to other running shoes, but my first impression has been very positive. The only challenge was sizing. I ended up ordering a larger size because the smaller one felt a bit too snug in the toe box. I’m still not 100% sure about the sizing, but I decided to keep the larger pair since a little extra room is probably better for running. Overall, I’m very happy with this purchase and can’t wait to start putting more miles on them.

Favorite shoes ever

Newby to plates
Originally posted on brooksrunning.com
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have recently gotten back into running after having my kiddos. I'm 41 and do the occasional 5k race but have inched my way into 10ks and have been training for a half marathon. My favorite Brooks of all time where the hyperion 2 which I have literally run into the ground, they have no tread left. This is my first pair of runners that have a plate, which I was very nervous about, given my lack of running experience. I can say I love them! They are bouncy and comfortable and I feel so very fast (even though I am sure the difference is slight) it gives me such a confidence boost, and isn't that what its all about?? I ran a 10k and then another 10 miles on my first two outings with them and have had no issues whatsoever. I live in FL so its hot and humid 100% of the time and these let my feet breath but also felt like a cushy sock on my feet. I highly recommend.

Need brighter colors back, need foam at toe tip better protected (issue w/lemon yellow only)
Originally posted on brooksrunning.com
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I wish you'd just keep the orange or another bright color like it in stock. I loved the orange. I loved the bright blue with the pink stripe. Feminine but bright. That what were looking for. Feminine, bright, eye catching. Ive had several pairs of hyperion max 3. I put on 12 + miles a day, rain or shine, 7 days a week. Hyperion max 3 are my favorites and only ones that I dont get injuries in or sore in. So I keep buying these. Please keep making them and please keep a brighter, feminine more awesome looking bright color in stock. The lemon ones get dirty too quickly. Love the pink stripe, for sure, but they get dirty too quickly. And the foam at the very tip on the lemon yellow ones snagged on cement and now catches all the time when I walk in them. Never had that problem before with all the other hyperion max 3 ive bought. There's some kind of difference in the way the foam on the tip is made on the yellow ones. The only other color option is boring mauve or white/coconut. Come on. White/off white running shoes? They're dirty after a few days or one rainy run and they dont wash well. Expensive running shoes should be bright. Like hot pink stripes but with the bright blues and the non obnoxious orange you use. Not mauve. Not boring dark blue. Not white. I wanted to love the lemon ones. I love the pink stripe, but they get dirty way too quick and dirt does not wipe off well on the fabric part of the hyperions, and the foam at the tip is not protected well from ripping off on the yellow ones. I would buy the guy shoes for a color option but theyre a little too wide.

Cushion + Bounce + Speed
Originally posted on brooksrunning.com
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Currently my go-to race shoes. I love the cushion and bounce these shoes provide. I'm not a great runner and it feels like these really help propel me forward. And not too heavy so I don't feel like they weigh me down. I was initially concerned with the height but didn't experience any instability issues when running. They are very snug, so if you don't like snug, I would recommend going up half a size. The Hyperion were my favorite for a long time and I'm very happy with the upgrade.
