Lovely looking dinner service. The colour was just what we wanted and the quality is very good. The only small thing is it isn’t suitable for an oven, but I just heat it in the microwave before using it to serve food on. The bowls are a generous size. The dinner plate is also a good size. I will be looking to add pasta bowls and mugs in the near future to complete the set.

We bought 2 sets (8 place settings) of the grey stripe version in October 2024 and were delighted with it so bought some extra plates a few months later. We wanted good quality bone china to replace some ageing crockery and the grey version is labelled 'Dishwasher safe'. Very disappointed to notice after some 14 months of use that the glaze had started to 'rainbow bloom' on each item. Usage became intolerable as cutlery and certain foods, particularly toast, made a horrid screeching noise that set your teeth on edge and made you shudder as you moved the item on the plate or bowl. The crockery had usually been washed in the properly maintained dishwasher with good quality proprietary dishwasher tabs and rinse-aid.

Lovely bone china - not easy to find anymore Could have done with some serve ware but this set didn’t have any serving plates or bowls Good grey ones can be used in microwave and dishwasher

I love this dinner service so much that I bought another one. It’s of excellent quality at a very good price. I’ve never had a full dinner service before but now I have. It’s not a problem that it’s not dishwasher safe because I’ll use the green style for special occasions only. I did then buy two sets of the grey for everyday use. The grey washes perfectly in the dishwasher btw. So out with my sad old chipped plates and in with the affordable Hampton set.

Good quality dinner set. I have the grey which looks smart and washes well in the dishwasher. But I have marked it down because the dimensions, especially of the large plates, differ from the set I already owned. I don’t know why this should be, but I wanted a matching set, and I just don’t have one. Such a shame…

Got this set in pink. Love it. Unfortunately it’s not dishwasher safe but quite happy to wash by hand the bits when I use it. Wouldn’t have bought it if I was washing up for a family.

Lovely pink dinner set and good value. One bowl had a very tiny chip but I have kept the set as is. Everything else about it is great and the home delivery service was good too.
