Good idea, bad execution

Really like the look of this belt but had to return because the the way it’s designed is really poor - the buckle (snaffle?) does not sit flat. One side is a bit raised from the leather but the other side where you put the buckle into a hole lies flat against the leather so you end up with one side of the buckle sticking out at an angle of about 30 degrees. Poor design so returned it.

I have been waiting for this belt to come back into stock to wear with dresses and various high waisted trousers. Love the soft leather and find M&S belts are true to size and sit very well. Great quality, buckle is lovely and I’ve had no issue lies with previous belts tarnishing or the leather cracking. Highly recommend

Absolutely brilliant belt, really good quality. I’m going to get it in brown as well. Marked down because I ordered a medium which is my usual size in M&S leather belts and this is a bit small… I’m in the loosest rivet when usually it would be somewhere on the middle

Ordered a medium (as a size 12/14) and it was about 6 inches too short, so changed to a large (the largest size it goes to) and it fits, looks lovely although not sure it will be very durable, material looks like it's already cracking. But if a size 14 is now the max sizing on belts then god help us.
