Really bad experience

Size up .5, not for running
Originally posted on Nike
SIZE UP!!! I am a true size 5 and had to exchange for a 5.5. I should have trusted the reviews that said to size up. This is the second week I have been wearing them and they’re still a little stiff. I like that I can tuck the laces into the flap on the tongue. I normally like shoes that I can tie once and slip on… these are not it. They’re a tie every time shoe. They’re very stable for weight lifting (flat bottom), my foot doesn’t rock either direction. However, I originally bought these for cross training (weight lifting and running), and they’re very hard to run in (bulky, stiffer, no bounce). My other training/gym/running Nike shoes were discontinued, so I thought I would try these out. I rated this 3.5 stars because they’re still a cute shoe and I’ll use these as my weight training shoe, but they miss the mark on comfort and versatility. They have lots of room in the toe box, but not enough stability to run. Unfortunately, I’m mixed reviews on whether I would recommend because I still ended up ordering a different style and brand bc I wasn’t happy with this shoe.

Great gym shoe!

Best gym shoe I've ever purchased! I love the stability. The toe room is a plus! No more squished toes, i can focus solely on my form now without worrying about my feet. I love the style as well. I enjoy training in my Nikes!

Very Stiff
Originally posted on Nike
Usually wear a 6.5, but sized up to a 7 and they fit. These Metcon’s feel real stiff at the tip of the shoe compared to my Metcon’s 7. The flexibility is not so great when doing back lunges or with movements where I have to bend at the toes. I use them for strength training and HIIT workouts and they allow me to keep my feet flat and stable. I love the vibrant color and how they stand out with every outfit I pair them with.

Run small
Originally posted on Nike
The toe box has changed from the Metcon 9, and these 10’s run too small. I bought the same size that I usually wear and my toes were rubbing the front. Exchanging them for half size bigger.

A full size short, best for wide feet.
Originally posted on Nike
I'm used to sizing up athletic shoes a half-size from my usual 6.5, but when I tried size 7, my toes still touched the front. I finally settled on size 7.5, but these run very wide even when cinching the laces down, so I need thicker socks to keep my narrow instep secure. Otherwise they're stable, flat-soled shoes that work for both weight-lifting and HIIT.

Poorly designed and crafted.

I threw these shoes in the garbage within 24 hours of receiving them. Not only did the custom ones I ordered look cheap and poorly made, they were super uncomfortable. Overall a really ugly shaped shoe. I was so disappointed I won't order Nike shoes online anymore.

Sizing is off
Originally posted on Nike
I have been wearing Metcons for years- purchased the 10 assuming they would fit like my previous ones. The 8.5 is too short, and my toes were rubbing, and the 9 was too large in the toe area. Sadly, had to return and find a different style. Disappointing as I love the look and feel of the shoe normally.

10/10 highly recommend
Originally posted on Nike
I hate a bulky workout shoe that I’m embarrassed to wear outside of the gym. This is the opposite of that. Based on reviews I sized up half a size and was glad I did. I typically wear a 9 and got a 9.5 and it fits perfectly.

This has been my first week using these for weights, very sturdy on squats & deadlifts, very comfy but stable, look good too.

Toe Box of Metcon 10 is Very Tight
Originally posted on Nike
Shoes could’ve been great. While the look of it is so nice, the toe box is very tight. My toes rub the top of the inside front and it does feel tighter than other shoes. I do believe the length of the shoe is correct so it’s probably the make of the toe box dimensions. I have been a long time Nike wearer for the gym so I’m bummed this particular make of the metcon 10 has these issues. For reference I have none wide feet and size between an 8-8.5. I tried the 8 and 8.5, had the same issue on this style.

Complete dissapointment

I had Metcon9s in womens size 10 and was pleased with the runner but after wearing them for almost 2 year and wanted to replace them. Ordered a women's size 10, metcon10 and they were too small and had to return them, Ordered a women's size 10.5 metcon10 and they were too small and returned them. Ordered metcon10 in womens size 11 and they fir for length but the top lace is way too low and so the top lace loosens and then its like I constantly have to tighter the top lace. Its like its missing another hole around the ankle for lacing the runners. No stores carry a women size 11 shoe to try on prior to purchase and I've never worn a size 11 in a nike runner. I wish they went back to the metcon9 design. Why change? I will be unlikely to buy another pair of Nike every again.

Best lifting shoe out there. Flat which are perfect for those heavy leg and glute days. Functional Fitness approved. Great support. I did prefer a half size up. Originally 7.5 but opted for the 8 and they are perfect. I have the maroon color way which are even prettier in person .

Cute and comfy

They are cute and comfortable though I should’ve gotten them a 1/2 size bigger. They run small so size up a half size. I got lots of compliments.

Sizing sucks

Beware got these in my size and they fit so tight. These definitely run small, had to return for a bigger size. Other than that these shoes are so nice.

Highly disappointed
Originally posted on Nike
I have always been a fan of the Metcon and I am extremely disappointed with this one. I am usually a size 9, but I decided to get a 9.5 based on the reviews, it was so snug, my toes were rubbing off the tip of the shoe and it was just to tight. I had to return and got a size 10, it was too wide.
