Design change hurts my feet.
Originally posted on Merrell
These were my fourth pair of Moab Floatpros. The design has changed to make the toe area more narrow and they hurt my feet. I cannot wear and would love to return for either a more comfortable show or a refund.

As always, Merrell lives up to expectations of good fit, instant comfortability, solid support. I have plantar fascitis and it's only in Merrell's that it doesn't flare up. I can hike for miles and miles and nothing hurts, rubs or pinches. That's what makes a great shoe!

Comfy Hiking Shoes!
Yes, I recommend this
I have a couple of other Merrell shoes/boots and always find them comfortable to wear straight out of the box! I was looking for a pair of lightweight hiking trainers for a marathon hike over undulating terrain and I knew Merrell would be my best option. These trainers are incredibly comfortable, they have a wide toe box and cushioned insole. The tread is excellent for uneven / off-road walking and hiking, especially with the Vibram sole. I'm a size 4 and typically size up to a 5 in running or hiking shoes to allow for feet swelling and thicker socks, but I could have probably got away with a 4.5 in these (had they been available), so I'd say they run a little large. Nonetheless, they still fit well and don't slip on the heel due to the ability to lock the laces. The colour is nice as well, ideal for spring/summer! I'm already thinking about getting a Goretex pair for inclement weather!

Great shoe, runs small

The quality and comfort of this shoe is 5/5. My only complaint is that it runs small. I wear a size 11, but this shoe fit like a size 10. Don't hesitate to buy this shoe just make sure you size up.

Look and Fit: Disappointed!
Originally posted on Merrell
I have had good luck with Merrell shoes… until now. When the toe flexes, the fabric bends and folds over the toe area, which looks tacky. I kept them because I thought the comfort would make up for this, but they are my least comfortable shoes. I wish I would have returned them!

We are sorry to hear these didn't work for you. We would always recommend returning immediately if not a good fit for you.
Disappointed in the quality.
Originally posted on Merrell
I expected the fabric on top to be more substantial for a trail shoe. My toe tends to lift while I am walking and then eventually wears a hole in the fabric. I have to buy shoes with thicker fabric on top. Next time, I will have to see before buying.

Pretty good shoe
Originally posted on Merrell
These shoes performed generally well with 2 exceptions. First, the fit seems to be made for wider feet. I have to lace the shoe ultra tight to prevent heel slippage. Second, although the soles are supposedly vibram, they wore out in a year.

Took these with me on my trip to Portugal, great support, bounce and grip for walking up cobblestoned streets in Lisbon and trails in Sintra. Highly recommend and glad to have some dedicated hiking shoes.

An okay shoe. Not as comfortable as my other Merrell hiker/shoe. I don't really like the mesh upper.

Shoes were incredibly comfortable right from start. There is a bit of “scrunching” of fabric in toe box but not a problem with performance

Hiking sneaker i've been looking for!

I really like the tread on these, they have great grip on the trail and feel super reliable on different terrain. They’re a great hiking sneaker overall, especially for day hikes. The roomy toe box is a plus and keeps my feet comfortable. They’re also cute and stylish, which is a nice bonus. Definitely a solid pick if you want something functional but still good-looking.

Great hiking shoe
Originally posted on Merrell
I can't say enough about these shoes for hiking. The tread is excellent, and they provide the exact amount of support while still being lightweight. They are definitely waterproof. Just finished a two week hiking trip in Patagonia. While I brought my heavier hiking boots, I did not need them.

Great shoe!

These are probably my favorite shoes I've ever gotten. Bought these for a 6 month backpacking trip (urban backpacking but still walking anywhere from 5-12 miles daily) and wore them every single day without ever getting a single blister! I'm getting a new pair for my trip this year. Would definitely recommend!

Moab Speed 2 GOR-TEX NOUGAT color
Originally posted on Merrell
This shoe is very well made outside and inside, but has no arch support. The main problem for me is it's narrow from the widest part of my foot forward. I really wanted them to fit.
