XL - not on your nelly!!
Nike usually are true to size but these shorts are far to short - not like the photos - and come up to the groin area, nearly. I'm a size 16 and 5'11" tall, thought XL would fit but sadly not as they are well made and such a beautiful blue.

Shy legged shorts
Yes, I recommend this
Such a perfect pair of shorts for running in the heat or lifting weights. No side pocket but a generous back waist pocket. Just the right length for shy legs.
