“Yellow has always been a favourite of mine. These pieces flowed so easily from one outfit into the next, creating a joyful, cool and comfortable capsule that moved from fresh whimsy to calm confidence,” Lolly Streek (@lollystreek).

Sun-soaked style
“In shades of buttercups, lemons and faded postcards, these pieces are perfect for every mood and all of summer’s adventures,” says Lolly.
Embrace this season's most joyous colour with style influencer, Lolly Streek's (@lollystreek) summer-ready looks.
Bright and bold, yellow can be an intimidating colour to incorporate into your wardrobe. But with Lolly's style advice and our summer hero staples, you'll be wearing this daring shade with confidence.
Prints charming
If you're looking for an easy way to wear yellow, start with a print. It's an easy way to add extra visual interest without going overboard.
Lolly starts with this boho-inspired plisse top, bringing warmth and energy to the look, complete with a subtle paisley print.
She pairs it with a sweeping midi length skirt to create movement, transitioning from summer parties to weekend plans with ease.
Soft focus
To make the colour a bit more wearable for everyday, opt for a soft, pastel yellow all over. Lolly puts our midaxi dress centre stage in a warm, buttercup shade.
Made with breathable linen, the pintuck panelling through the bodice and flared skater skirt creates an elegantly tailored silhouette.
When it comes to styling, keep it simple and let the dress do the talking. Throw on a pair of brown leather sandals and add a touch of gold jewellery for a luxe accent.
Desk to dinner
Sunshine yellow works just as well after dark as it does in the daytime. The trick is to opt for a softer shade, like this faux-leather bomber in butter yellow. A modern take on a timeless shape, it feels easy and wearable, with a subtle neck tie detail that adds interest.
Lolly wears it unzipped with barrel trousers and sandals for a simple, pulled-together work look.
Then, when evening rolls around, unzip the jacket and add statement earrings. It immediately feels more relaxed and ready for dinner, drinks or wherever the night takes you.
Drenched in yellow
Head-to-toe yellow is where the trend really comes alive. Lolly mixes tones and textures to keep it from feeling too one-dimensional.
Start with a long pintuck skirt as your base, then layer a lace cami on top for a brighter hit of colour. The contrast between the floaty material and delicate lace detailing feels fresh and easy, perfect for long summer days that stretch into evening.
Finish with brown sandals and minimal jewellery to tie the look together.
